Dear List,
I have a client with a newly acquired left transfemoral amputation who would like to be able to drive his 1941 Chevrolet with manual transmission. This automoblile has a clutch which would require use of his TF prosthesis to operate.
As the vehicle is in certified original condition he does not wish to add any modifications such as hand controls.
I seem to remember a strap that could be added to a TF prosthesis which held the flexion angle of the prosthesis to allow clutch operation.
I would appreciate any input in this matter, and will post the resposes.
