The Academy’s Clinical Techniques seminar on Gait and Physical Assessment for O&P Professionals will be held June 4-5 in Newington, CT.
Review the practical use of goniometric science, manual muscle testing techniques and observational gait assessment and body segment analysis that enable formulation of the optimal O&P treatment plan.
The teaching format will include lecture, demonstrations and break out sessions for all participants to practice their newly acquired skill sets. Select patients will be brought in for team evaluation, assessment and final recommendations to be made to the entire group. Video analysis will be used to help augment the evaluation of the pathologic gait for the representative neurologic patient.
