To remedy the confusion, AOPA recently released the new 2004 AOPA Illustrated Guide, which includes the latest 2004 codes.
The Illustrated Guide is a “picture guide” specific to O&P, providing detailed illustrations of O&P devices, their official Medicare descriptors, as well as an AOPA interpretation of each code. It also features separate sections for O&P devices, glossary, and an overview of the L-code system.
