Dear Colleagues,
Northwestern University’s Prosthetics-Orthotics Center is offering a three-day “hands-on” course in ischial containment socket design and fitting. This course has been taken by hundreds of practitioners over the past 12 years. The course is scheduled for May 19-21,2004.
Only three openings remain in this comprehensive step-by-step teaching approach to transfemoral management. Course content includes patient evaluation, measurement techniques, casting procedures, alignment criteria, and problem solving. All participants will be able to individually cast, modify, fit and align
a patient demonstrator. A course manual and CD is included in the
tuition.
