My abc orthotic assistant just asked me if he could take the boc orthotic
exam so he could spend $75.00 for an abc certificate. Lets see, the boc charges
the following:
application fee $150.00
video practical exam $175.00
multiple choice exam $250.00
clinical simulation $250.00
total $850.00
abc now says that as long as you are a boc certificant by the end of 12/31/04
you can become an abc certified practioner for $75.00. I thought that this
tactic of enticing the boc to join the abc was to put a big dent in their
treasury. It kinda looks like the other way around………I just saw my resident
talking to my assistant.
