Some of you know the meaning of this word and some of you do not. ABC
has good people leading us at the moment. We must have faith in them
that they will lead us in the right direction no matter how unpopular
their decisions are and are going to be. Many of you making rash
decisions at the moment will be better off if you sit back and think
before you act. Your dedication to the orthotic and prosthetic field
will be meaured by the amount of effort you put into learning this field
and tranfering that knowledge to patient care.
If you think about the past and how many times you relied on our now
ABC leaders for help and assistance, did any one of them turn you down?
They won’t now either. They need your support now as they have given you
support in the past. To refuse to do business or associate with any of
them because of the current crisis/situation, is unethical and just
plain wrong.
Listen to your heart not your emotions. Many of us have sacrificed to
get where we are. We all know that our sacrifice was worth it. We may be
asked to sacrifice again. If it leads to a level of quality of patient
care, then we should move forward. We need to “put our shoulder to the
wheel and help push along” not stand by the side and gossip, point
fingers or threaten anyone.
