Our office is experiencing difficulty obtaining reimbursement from Medicare Region C on Toe Off AFOs. Despite the fact that we have attached SADMERC’s letter which confirms the proper coding for this device, Medicare denies the claims stating the procedures codes are invalid. Is any else experiencing this same difficulty? Camp states they have not heard of anyone else having problems. Any responses would be greatly appreciated.
