Hello list,
Last week I posted concerning used orthotics. Specifically where can they
be sent and used. I?ve compiled the responses below. As always the list
came through. Below you will find several sources that take used orthotics.
Some want them for use in foreign countries, while others want them for
use in O&P education programs in the US. Thanks to all who replied.

Any used Orthotics or prosthetics can be sent to Ghana, C/O Wright &
Filippis, Attn: Ernie, 2638 Bond Street, Rochester Hills, MI 48309. I
Wright & Filippis has made a commitment to Ghana and developing their
Orthotics and prosthetics. I travel there twice a year to teach and do
patient care. Thank you for any support.

Post Mastectomy Care
We have a prosthetist who used to work for us here in Abilene, Tx who is now
in El Paso. He goes to Mexico to donate his time and talents for a mission
clinic they do there. We are collecting all kinds of orthotic items and
mailing to him. If you’re interested, I can give you his address. Just let
me know.
