2004 Medicare Fee Schedule

David Hendricks

Greetings Colleagues:

I notice that the new CMS fee schedule was offered for sale, and that Joe Harvey posted a follow-up telling the listserv members how to download it free.

I routinely download the CMS fee schedules as they are issued and then I modify the spreadsheet to my personal preference, adding an “average” column, moving the description left, and removing all alphanumeric codes except for “L” codes. The resulting file allows me to quickly go to the L-code, read the description, see the high, low and average, then scan to the right for the allowable for a particular state.

If anyone would like a copy of the Excel file as modified by me, I’ll be more than happy to send it to you, free of charge. Just go to the “Contact Us” page at our website (www.statfab.com) and e-mail customer service requesting the “CMS Excel file.” Please provide your name and credentials, along with your company name and a phone number. (We will verify that you are a credentialed O&P professional before sending you the file.)

Regards to all. Happy Holidays.

David
