Anyone know the source of the “whomper stomper”(sp?)? I remember it
from about 15 years ago. It’s a ~4” diameter round rubber “foot” for a
“peg leg” prosthesis.

Call SPS. They call it just a “stomper”. If the clerk can’t help you,
ask to speak with his/her supervisor. They are available–I purchased a
couple 2 years ago. As I recall, someone within the Hanger organization
develped these, and they are only marketed through SPS, or perhaps that
I used to order the stomper from SPS call Don 1-800-537-1957. They come
in two sizes the Stomper and the Stomper Jr.. The Jr will fit a standard
30 mm pylon the other was designed for use with PVC (2″?). I have a
couple of old ones here at the school if you need one and can’t find

Try buying it through SPS under the name Stomper JR. I went through a
lot of trouble to find their name and number only to find out that I
could buy it through SPS
