Well said, Dr. Smith! I, too, was appalled at the coercive efforts of
this company to extort money from committed, honest, patient-oriented
prosthetists whose interests lie with the needs of the amputees they serve. Ossur
certainly produces some good products, but this program is a PR disaster. I would
encourage as many others as possible to contact Mr. Wertz so as to innundate
him with these very legitimate concerns and complaints. Possibly, with enough
letters, phone calls and e-mails, they will reconsider the OAF Program and make
amends to the profession which has supported them so faithfully for so many
years.
