Dear Colleagues,
I had a request from a 12 year old patient of mine that she would like to camping on a full week trip with her classmates. Mom claims that since her daughter has just moved to the school, many of her classmates are not aware that she has a prosthesis. Her current prosthesis relies on an iceross locking suspension. My young friend has worked out a way to shower in the teachers cabin but does not want to remove her leg at night. Since moving to this school she has done well academically and socially. Mom sincerely believes the other children believe her daughters leg may just be a little different due to an accident..
