Just a couple of quick items:
1. Apparently, while we were at our Annual Meeting in Orlando our net server went down. We think we have recovered all of the emails, but if you sent an email to anyone at the Academy in the later part of the week please resend it just to be sure.
2. Thanks very much to our volunteer translators who provided the simultaneous Spanish translation during many of the sessions for the benefit of the practitioners from Latin America. Eddy Fuentes Waldo Esparza Marlo Ortiz Arturo Vazquez Vela Miguel Gomez
3. The meeting was the largest Academy Annual Meeting ever…more than 1500 people registered and attended. Our Family-Friendly schedule of starting the day at 7:00 am and ending around 3 or 4 pm worked very well. The scientific sessions were packed (a few had to be moved to larger rooms to accommodate the crowds), the sold-out exhibit hall was filled with customers throughout the meeting, and the evaluations indicate our planning team did a great job in selecting topics and speakers delivered the goods. Next meeting will be in San Diego, March 19-22, 2003.
