University of Michigan Orthotics and Prosthetics Center, Ann Arbor, MI, is now accepting applications for an Orthotic and a Prosthetic resident. The residencies are scheduled to start in the late summer of 2002.
The residencies are structured after an educational model rather than a revenue-producing model. This allows the resident to advance at a comfortable pace. It also provides for a structured and comprehensive residency. Emphasis will also be placed on the completion of a quality research project. The resident may receive backing to present the project at a national meeting if desired.
Deadline for application materials is April 15, 2002. Selection process should be complete by the end of April.
