Cascade

Don

In response to Cascade providing orthotics to physical therapists:
I believe that in areas where Cascade DAFOs are predominately utilized =
that we, (the Orthotic Professionals), failed to provide the type of =
service the Physical Therapy Industry desired. We are in a service =
industry and if we wish to continue to provide service to a particular =
group we must provide the type of service they desire. In business the =
one who controls the referral is the one who determines what type of =
service is to be utilized. We can debate whether the service that is =
utilized is the best for the patient, but we cannot control which =
service is utilized. Much to our chagrin the Cascade service system =
seems to be working. =20
I suggest that if we do not like a competitor taking our business that =
we review our personal biases and perceptions and then try to provide a =
service that the referral source would prefer to use.

On a happier note, I would like to wish everyone a wonderful New Year =
filled with success and joy!

Respectfully,
Don Dixon, CPO
