By the Numbers/Amputee Statistic Source

Tony Barr

Since many of you have asked the source of the Barr Foundation’s amputee =
statistics, below is where they did cometh!
I am glad so many found the information helpful.

Some have asked for further break downs by level of amputation and =
children,men,women,etc.
You may want to check with the below organizations for that information:

1) ACA and the National Limb Loss Information Center =
www.amputee-coalition.org
The NLLIC serves as a information clearinghouse to provide comprehensive =
resources for people with limb loss and health care professionals. It is =
federally funded (with your $$) thru the Centers for Disease Control and =
Prevention (CDC).

2) NAAOP www.oandp.com/naaop
