A cast used for fabricating a corset is something that I personally have
never done but, it was a technique used when leather corsets were common
place. The cast should be prepared in the same manner as for an LSO, making
sure that it encompasses all of the area that you are looking to support.
When casting for any device its always better to be looking at more of your
model than is needed than to be looking for more of your model because your
cast didn’t reflect the proper length or detail desired to accomplish your
goal.
