hanger-one last time

Robert McCulloch

My My. Some people write in on the list, criticizing Hanger’s pricing policy, and here

comes a flood of E-mails and posts from Hanger managers, stating what great, sincere,

conscientious, practitioners they are. I hope Ivan gives you a pat on the head, if he sees these.

I didn’t see or read any posts criticizing Hanger’s quality of work. It brings up the

question as to why these Hanger practitioners feel the need to defend their company.

Are you saying Hanger’s pricing policies are okay for the profession in general, that

Hanger’s actions over the last few years has are not hurting our profession.

Hey, as long as you’re on the inside looking out, getting that regular paycheck, who cares

what Bethesda is doing.

And to the independent facility owner who writes in and says they don’t care what Hanger

charges or what they’re doing, they can beat Hanger with quality and service, I say to you,

look what has happened in the last ten years with our profession and the medical

profession in general. “Quality” and “Service” ? ? What’s that mean to the insurance

company ? ? The insurance company only cares about one thing. And that’s what this

discussion is about.
