I am posting this for a colleague (CP) who is not on-line. He received a
call from a woman here in the US who has a friend in France who is a
trans-humeral amputee. She was looking for advice for her friend and
gave him this limited info:
She lost her R arm (dominant) in an airplane accident and has a 10cm
residuum.
She has had some prosthetic treatment without “success”
She said she is willing to travel anywhere on the globe for “state of
the art” prosthetic care
(myoelectric was mentioned)
She is looking for a facility/institution specializing in upper
extremity amputees.
Any suggestions?
