I’ve had a patient walk into the clinic today with an annoying squeak
coming from his Flex Walk (cat.4, size 28) foot. It has split toe/heel.
This component is fitted to a Syme socket; the man is young, active and
robust; the foot was fitted about 121/2 months ago.
I have eliminated the cosmetic cover as a source of the creak because I can
elicit this noise when it’s not on by flexing the foot at the bench. Does
anyone have any clues: 1. what’s causing the noise.(btw, the plates are not
rubbing together)? 2. can I fix it? 3. Is this common?
