Kieth–

ALPS has a BK retainer sleeve they are developing made from a material

“something-or-other olefin”. While it is intended for BK suspension, I have

used it for various other purposes, even over the elbow. The interesting

feature of the material is that there is no apparent sheer on the skin when

the elbow (or knee) is flexed and therefore no pressure.

In your patient’s situation, i think it would provide very good protection–it

starts out at about 6mm thinckness. I believe they’ll send you a sample to

try.

Let me know how it works.
