Hip Fracture Prevention Orthosis?

I have a colleague in the Connecticut area who has a physician

requesting an orthosis for the prevention of hip fractures. This

physician reports that he has heard of one being used in Europe to

protect from the impact of a fall.

If anyone is familiar with such a device, please share this information

and I will pass it along.
