Good man Chris Drake! This irritating misuse of terminology has been
driving me mental for years……..
I suppose other professions will continue to use the terminology
incorrectly, but surely we at least should insist on getting it right!
Personally, I blame Podiatrists in general , and the Langer Biomechanics
people in particular, for initiating
this inaccurate and infuriating practice.
As for “sattilites” we have to make do with satellites in this part of
the world…..
