I have been contacted by a missionary friend (who helps the
disadvantaged in Baja California) regarding a gentleman who sustained an
amputation about 6″ above his right knee. He used to work in a tire shop
and needs to work to support his family.
Please forward resources who can help procure a proven low-cost
low-maintenance prosthesis (with or without knee) so he can stand ambulate
short distances. What system is He has no discomfort in the stump and has
been using crutches.
