Re: URGENT: ALABAMA FIGHT

Scott Williamson

We encourage people to get involved in this fight and also to monitor your own state Medicaid programs. Many are looking at ways to “be more efficient.”

The Alabama Association needs money to help this fight (the first in the nation). If they are successful, their win can be your win!

If you are compelled to take action, please use the template comments we have put on the Alabama Prosthetic and Orthotic Association’s website at: http://www.alabamapoa.org/important-updates.html

Thank you for your support,

Scott Williamson

Subject: [OANDP-L] URGENT: ALABAMA FIGHT

If this was about football, I would get a thousand responses! Medicaid wants to cut O&P completely. Adults and Peds. If you have a argumentative bone in your body, please fight this! It sets the stage for other payers to follow their lead. Deadline is the 4th, please DO SOMETHING TODAY! Use the template, write your own, but respond.
