final rule April 2 “that will reduce beneficiary out-of-pocket

durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics, and supplies
(DMEPOS), help combat supplier fraud, and ensure beneficiary access
to high quality DMEPOS items and services through a new competitive
bidding program,” according to CMS.
