The American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (the
Academy) is leaving its former headquarters in Alexandria,
Virginia, to inhabit new, fully accessible offices in downtown
Washington DC as of June 30, 2008. According to an Academy press
release, the new offices are conveniently close to Capital
decision-makers and one block from the Metro Center stop on the
metro rail system.
