O&P agencies and associations have joined together in a collective voice to show support for the O&P profession during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The National Commission on Orthotics and Prosthetic Education; the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics; the Board for Certification/ Accreditation; the American Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics; the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association; and the National Association for the Advancement of Orthotics and Prosthetics released the ‘We Are United’ video April 15, in which executive directors and other leadership express guidance and offer support to patients, providers, and other O&P-related providers and businesses, as well as to O&P educators, students, and residents.
