I’m wondering if anyone has any experience in calculating lifetime costs of becoming an amputee. Specifically this would be in the case of negligence by a health care provider leading to amputation. FYI I’m in Australia.
I’m due to assess an individual in this situation. A colleague has done it in a previous role and thought that the legal firm who engaged her gave guidelines for the calculations but I don’t want to count on this.
I’d appreciate any of your insights, and will post back to the group with a summary.
