Boots for swollen ankles

Gary Seaman

Hi All

Recently we have been seeing a number of patients post trauma with swollen
ankles. We can’t find a suitable solution for the patients. There are two
types those limited ambulators and community ambulators. Its winter here in
NZ So a warmer boot or half boot with a soft lining. The limited ambulators
only need a very low of support and the ambulators all need custom foot
orthotic and a sole and mid sole that would support the orthosis. They also
need to be somewhat fashionable. Any suggestions?

Kind regards
