Hello,
I would like to know if anyone else is having a problem with a Medicare
Advantage plan taking out the 2% sequestration tax out of the payment.
Humana is the only one doing it right now. I have talked to Noridian, my
MAC, and was told that they could find nothing that gives the Advantage
Plans the authority to take the tax out of the payments.
I have yet to get hold of someone at Humana that can give me an answer one
way or the other or where to find the authorization. My contract with
Humana does not give them the authorization to do this.
