Hi Group,
Medicare DME has a list of HCPCS that are reimbursable only if they have
a PDAC letter. For items that are custom fabricated from raw material and
given to the patient directly the supplier must provide a list of the
materials that were used and a description of the custom fabrication
process on request.
What is the best way to document this. Do others use a template or how do
they document this information. I am trying to help an
Orthotist/Prosthetist with this and would be glad if I can get any
suggestions.
