Bk casting techniques

I have a 2 part question
First
I am looking at different BK casting techniques and wondering what others are using and there seccess or problems?.
Second
I am using the TSB icecast system and I am seeing up to 24mm elongation in the cast depending on how fleshly the stump is.  I am seeing distal tib pressure on the check sockets. and I am thinking that this is becasue of the elongation.
 
What if any have other done to accommidate this?
