Does anyone know of a source for surgical opening boots, other than
Alden/Sabel? I have tried the Alden Shoe Co. and I am not at all happy at
the way I was treated by their sales rep. The surgical boots that the
patient wants are split sizes and the patient requested a soft leather. The
boots I got from Alden were not mismated from stock so I had to buy 2 pairs
and they are very stiff leather, plus the shoe laces weren’t even long
enough to try the shoes on with. Of course the patient rejected the shoes.
If anyone knows of another source for high top surgical opening shoes please
let me know.
