Vertical Shock Pylon

Skewes, Ed

Good Afternoon and Happy New Year,

We would appreciate your suggestions regarding the following patient.

10 y.o. female Dx : meningococcemia
Bilateral transtibial amputee (MTP to distal end approx. 4.5″ )
94 lbs.
MTP to floor will be approx. 15”

Socket design will be PTBSC because of the short residual limbs.

Our intention was to use Seattle light feet with endoskeletal vertical
shock pylons.

We would appreciate your recommendation for a specific brand of the VSP’s
available.

Sincerely,
Ed Skewes CPO
