Amparo Prosthetics, a polymer prosthetic technologies company, is partnering with Empire Medical, a centralized O&P purchasing department. The relationship will allow members of the network to access Amparo’s socket products through Empire’s purchasing tools. Amparo, founded in Germany, now has its corporate offices in Salt Lake City.
The Amparo socket can be direct fitted so that clinicians can create a definitive socket in less than an hour. Amparo has also created a mobile clinic to serve patients.
