Marty Carlson, Tamarack Habilitation Technologies founder, president, and CEO, is retiring after a career dedicated to O&P and complex rehabilitation. Carlson will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association at its National Assembly in September. Tamarack says that Carlson’s work “has improved the lives of many around the world with his educational efforts, the services he provided, products he designed, and his leadership and compassionate work throughout the industry.”

Tamarack is also welcoming Cole Carlson as the director of business development. Cole Carlson graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a bachelor’s degree in physics, and from the University of Colorado Boulder with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. He is a licensed mechanical engineer who worked as a mechanical/energy engineer for several consulting firms before shifting his professional focus to materials science and rehabilitation engineering.
Cole Carlson will work with Marty Carlson and the Tamarack team to transition the company into its next chapter of leadership.
