BI Medical is seeking a strategic buyer to help scale adoption of its proprietary hygiene technology across the global limb-loss community. BI Medical is the maker of the Liner Wand, a solution for cleaning prosthetic liners to reduce skin irritation and odor.
“As our user base continues to grow, we are more convinced than ever that our technology can create a lasting impact within the limb-loss community,” said CEO Elizabeth Stone. “To achieve our ambitious goals, we need the scale of a distributor or partner with clinical leadership in the O&P industry and a shared passion for establishing a ‘standard-of-care’ for amputee hygiene. Without this, serving our patients and providers will likely no longer be possible.”
BI Medical is accepting initial interest through February 1, 2024, and hopes to complete the sale of the business by the second quarter of 2024.
