The Amputee Coalition released a national television public service announcement (PSA) titled “Conquer” to highlight the many ways people living with limb loss and limb difference meet challenges and overcome barriers every day. The 30-second video is one of five PSAs as part of the organization’s year-round #InspireToElevate campaign that raises awareness about limb loss and limb difference.
The new television spot features prominent amputees, including Amputee Coalition Executive Board Chair John Register, Paralympic athletes Femita Ayanbeku and Jessica Heims, actress Zyra Gorecki, television writer and producer Brandon Sonnier, and US para-athlete Gary Weiland. It encourages people living with limb loss and limb difference to visit the Amputee Coalition’s website to access resources and tools.
