Eqwal, a healthcare and O&P patient care services provider headquartered in France, acquired Orthopartners BV, a Netherlands-based supplier of O&P products and materials. The company will join Eqwal’s products and components division through its Dutch subsidiary, Ortho Dev Nederland.
The acquisition is part of Eqwal’s plan to reinforce its market presence in Northern and Central Europe, and to expand its distribution capabilities in key O&P markets, the company said.
Karen and Michael Katz, founders of Orthopartners, will remain involved to ensure continuity and support the next phase of development.
