A review of skeletal modeling mechanismsinfluences and developmental features of the trunk and LE. Normal developmental events are related to: 1) modeling errors in the presence of ligament laxity and recruitment and weight-loading problems in children with neuromotor disorders; 2) findings obtained by undertaking 10 essential musculoskeletal assessments; 3) Sahrmann’s muscle balance theory; and 4) therapeutic management, emphasizing the principles and precautions for application of TheraTogs.
