MEC ‘11 – An International Conference on Advanced Limb Prosthetics

MEC ‘11 Keynote Speakers will be:Dr. Helena Burger, a specialist of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at the University Rehabilitation Institute, and Professor of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at University of Ljubljana, Ljubljana, Slovenia; Dr. Silvestro Micera, Head of the Neural Engineering group at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa, Italy; and Dr. Jonathan Wolpaw, Chief of the Laboratory of Neural Injury and Repair at the Wadsworth Center, New York State Department of Health, Albany, NY.

Courses and workshops geared to clinicians and researchers will be offered during the first 2-3 days. Specifically for Occupational Therapists, a certification course will be offered for the Assessment of Capacity for Myoelectric Control (ACMC).
