Independent comprehensive course to prepare for certification exam. Entry level school approved by NCOPE (ABC) and BOC; and for continuing education by BOC.

ABC certification exams will be administered for orthotists, prosthetists, pedorthists, orthotic fitters, mastectomy fitters, therapeutic shoe fitters, and orthotic and prosthetic technicians. The application deadline for these exams is March 1, 2012.

Eight-hour program concentrating on the emerging MPAF products, Elan, Raize, and Proprio. Lecture, video, and patient models demonstrating system capabilities of each alternative product.

Course covers O&P software tools, shape creation, and custom liners. Must be a current OMEGA Tracer facility to attend. Credits: 18.5 ABC/18.5 BOC.
