    Phoenix World Burn Congress is an annual, international conference that brings together 900 burn survivors, their families, caregivers, burn care professionals, and firefighters. Registration will be available online Spring, 2016.

  • Science of Elevated Vacuum

    This course will help you have an understanding of the basic theory behind vacuum suspension and gain experience fitting sockets/componentry for use with vacuum in a clinical setting. Match liner designs and materials with various elevated vacuum suspension methods, including the Aura/Echo locking seal, sealing sleeves, and component configurations.

  • Patient Paperwork in Orthotics and Prosthetics

    Careless management of patient paperwork can lead to claim denials. This course includes Patient Intake; Durable Medical Equipment Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) Supplier Standards; Understanding Insurance Networks; Prior Authorization; and Advanced Beneficiary Notices. Learning will be supported through weekly activities and online discussions. Registration closes on October 31. Fee: $79.

    Year-round testing with no deadlines. Fitter candidates can apply – test when ready and receive results instantly. BOCO, BOCP, BOCPD candidates still have 3 years to take their exams. Learn more at www.bocusa.org.
