The University of Hartford recognized its first graduates of the Certificate in O&P Business Management: Bridget Augustine; Amy Bauman, CPO; Curt Bertram, CPO; Jenny Chen; Linda Calabria; Yuri Escoto; Dana Glover; Fernando Ortiz; Caciel Ruvalcaba; and Karla Spero. These individuals join Sarah Marich and Jennifer Porter who graduated during a previous iteration of the program.
The students were honored during a graduation ceremony at the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association’s (AOPA) 2023 National Assembly in Indianapolis in September.
The Certificate in O&P Business Management is offered at UHart’s Barney School of Business through a partnership with AOPA. It is a comprehensive certificate program that offers a series of business and management courses to provide business owners, managers, and practitioners of O&P patient care facilities, O&P manufacturers, and distributors an opportunity to explore crucial business challenges.
