Job Description

Job Title: Certified, Board-Eligible, or Resident Orthotist/Prosthetist

Location: North Central Washington

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with patients and healthcare professionals to assess, design, and fit orthotic and prosthetic devices tailored to individual needs.
  • Provide expert consultation to patients, discussing treatment options, and ensuring their understanding of the process.
  • Accurate documentation and maintenance of patient records.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in orthotic/prosthetic technologies and best practices.
  • Assist in training and guiding support staff to ensure exceptional patient care.

Requirements:

  • Degree completed in Orthotics/Prosthetics, Certification, or eligibility for certification by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC) or the Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC).
  • Knowledge of the latest orthotic/prosthetic techniques and devices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patient care.
