Job Title: Certified, Board-Eligible, or Resident Orthotist/Prosthetist
Location: North Central Washington
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with patients and healthcare professionals to assess, design, and fit orthotic and prosthetic devices tailored to individual needs.
- Provide expert consultation to patients, discussing treatment options, and ensuring their understanding of the process.
- Accurate documentation and maintenance of patient records.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in orthotic/prosthetic technologies and best practices.
- Assist in training and guiding support staff to ensure exceptional patient care.
Requirements:
- Degree completed in Orthotics/Prosthetics, Certification, or eligibility for certification by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC) or the Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC).
- Knowledge of the latest orthotic/prosthetic techniques and devices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patient care.
