Here, you’ll get the best of both worlds: the warmth of a local clinic and the resources, peer network and growth opportunities of a national organization.

- Comprehensive benefits: extended health, dental, vision and life insurance
- Paid time off and company events
- Support for continuing education and OPC membership
- Modern clinic, on-site parking, and a great coffee machine
- A national network of clinicians to learn from, and room to grow with Mable Health
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Reporting to Senior Clinicians and Operations Leaders, you will assess, design, fit and follow up on orthoses for patients with disabling conditions of the limbs and spine, under the direction of physicians and in collaboration with other health professionals.
- Review medical records, examine patients and evaluate functional loss and orthotic needs
- Consult with physicians, nurses, physiotherapists and rehabilitation counsellors
- Take casts and measurements, select materials, and perform model modifications and layouts
- Fabricate, repair and modify orthoses; prepare specifications for technicians
- Perform fittings, including static and dynamic alignments, and adjust devices for fit, function and quality
- Educate patients on the use, care and limitations of their devices
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records and apply funding codes for correct billing
- Provide care at hospitals, nursing homes and outlying clinics as needed (some travel)
- Supervise orthotic technicians and support staff, when applicable
- Take part in hospital clinics, continuing education and research opportunities
WHAT YOU BRING
- Education: College Diploma of Technology in Prosthetics and Orthotics
- Certification: Orthotics Prosthetics Canada (OPC) certification (required) and ability to maintain membership in good standing
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in orthotics
- Strong manual dexterity and comfort with hand tools and lab machinery
- Ability to read and interpret prescriptions, technical drawings and work orders
- Excellent time management, attention to detail and commitment to quality
