- Recommend and design orthotic devices in accordance with prescriptions and individual patient needs.
- Complete measurements, casting, and other steps needed to prepare custom orthoses.
- Fit, adjust, and follow up on orthotic devices, assessing comfort, alignment, skin tolerance, and function.
- Perform some hands-on fabrication, modifications, and repairs.
- Educate children and caregivers about orthotic use, wear schedules, skin checks, and device care.
- Collaborate with therapists and referring providers to support coordinated care.
- Complete timely clinical documentation and provide information needed for authorizations and reimbursement.
- Help develop the orthotics program through improvements to workflows, family education, referral relationships, and services.
- Contribute to social media and educational content that highlights orthotic care and fabrication, following clinic privacy and consent policies.
- Maintain safe, organized clinical and fabrication spaces.
What we’re looking for
- Current orthotics certification through ABC or BOC, in good standing. Certified Prosthetist Orthotists with an interest in pediatric orthotics are also welcome to apply.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required Minnesota professional licensure.
- Strong clinical reasoning, fitting, and fabrication skills.

- Clear, compassionate communication with children and caregivers.
- A collaborative approach, reliable follow-through, and strong organizational skills.
- Interest in program development and contributing to educational social media content.
Why join CPM?
- Work with therapists who appreciate the difference well-designed orthotics can make.
- Build meaningful relationships with children and families.
- Combine patient care, fabrication, creativity, and program development.
- Bring your ideas to a pediatric practice where your expertise matters.
