We are expanding our team and looking for a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist who is eager to learn and embrace cutting-edge technology, including 3D printing in prosthetic design and fabrication.
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable CPO to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in prosthetic care and a passion for learning new technologies, particularly 3D printing and digital fabrication. This role will involve a mixture of traditional clinical patient assessment and care, prosthetic design, fitting, and follow-up care, with integration of 3D-printed components in our workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and design customized prosthetic solutions
- Fit, adjust, and modify prosthetic devices to ensure optimal comfort and function
- Work closely with technicians and patients to refine prosthetic designs
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, particularly 3D printing in prosthetics
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide top-tier patient care
Qualifications:
- ABC CPO
- Experience in patient assessment, device fabrication, and fitting
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and integrate 3D printing techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred but Not Required:
- Experience with CAD software and digital design for prosthetics
- Familiarity with 3D printing materials and processes
