Job Description
The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Orthotic and Prosthetic Centers invite applications for a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO) or Certified Orthotist (CO) to join a rapidly expanding, multi-center academic practice. This full-time clinical position offers a dynamic and rewarding career within a top-tier academic medical center dedicated to innovation, education, and exceptional patient care.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient orthotic and/or prosthetic services to patients with diverse medical diagnoses. Responsibilities include performing detailed clinical evaluations, implementing a broad range of treatment modalities, and participating in the technical fabrication of orthotic and/or prosthetic devices.
In addition to clinical duties, the incumbent will contribute to educational initiatives by delivering presentations to allied health professionals and serving as a resident instructor. Opportunities also exist to participate in clinical research and to serve on Orthotic and Prosthetic committees focused on education, technology and innovation, research, best practices, and quality improvement.
